We will be following Gymnastics Ontario and Heath Ontario's framework for opening.  Our goal is to make our facility as safe as possible for all our athletes and coaches.  We have outlined below some guidelines we will be following.

  • Physical distancing, Athletes move around the gym with their group only.

  • Heightened cleaning of the entire facility, using commercial cleaners recommended by health Canada.

  • Frequent hand washing will be encouraged. Signs will be posted in all bathrooms on proper handwashing. After using the gym, all children will wash their hands using provided hand sanitizer or soap and water in the washroom.

  • Please remind your child to cough or sneeze in their arm or tissue and to wash their hands right after.

  • The washrooms will be cleaned frequently.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided in the gym.

  • The facility will be cleaned between groups moving into the gym.

  • Coaches will be wearing masks when social distancing cannot be achieved. Children are not required to wear masks, but you can allow them to wear their own masks if you would prefer that.

  • Hand Spotting for recreational athletes is not permitted at this time.

Prior to arrival:

We cannot allow anyone who is ill or has an ill family member to come into the gym. We also may have to refuse entry if your child appears ill while arriving. We have added many safeguards to keep your child safe during this time including limiting numbers in the gym and only allowing athletes in the gym at this time.

 Things to keep in mind:

  • If anyone in the family is feeling unwell DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THE GYM

  • If your child has a fever, cough, are having difficulty breathing or otherwise feel unwell, please DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE GYM

  • Our online waiver must be accepted online.  A COVID symptoms survey is also required via our online site, or via a form on-site at the gym.

  • Athletic clothing (shorts and a t-shirt) or gym suit.  Arrive dressed for class, as change rooms are closed.

  • We understand that we will be dealing with younger participants and social distancing may be a challenge.  Please review with your child the meaning of social distancing and please set these expectations prior to arrival.  If your child cannot follow these rules, they may be asked to leave.

  • You must bring your own pre-filled water bottle as we cannot allow the bottles to be filled on location.

  • Please ensure all personal items are clearly labelled.

  • Given the small size of our viewing area and the difficulty that would present for social distancing, the viewing area will be closed until further notice.

When you arrive/pickup:

It is imperative that you are not late for pick up as we have other programs starting and we want to limit exposure.

When you arrive please remain in your car until the front door is opened.  At this time, you may bring your child to the front door where they will be greeted by a staff member and given instructions.  All participants will be required to sanitize their hands prior to entering the gym area.  This can be done by using hand sanitizer at the front door, or if they are sensitive to hand sanitizer, they can use soap and water in the washroom.

Once in the building, they will be instructed where to place their belongings.  Once in the gym, we have marked out 6-foot squares where they are to sit and await further instruction.

Upon pick up a staff member will greet you at the front entrance of the facility and retrieve your child at that time.

Important – Parents are not allowed to enter the building at this time, and doors will be locked once the children are inside.  If you need to get in contact with us while your child is participating please email:
